Brewline ("we", "us", "our") operates brewline.duckdns.org (the "Site"). This page explains
what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the
minimum needed to run an affiliate content site.
Information we collect
- Usage data. When you click a product link, we record the product, the page
you came from, your browser's user-agent string, and a hashed version of
your IP address. We hash IP addresses so we can count unique clicks without
storing your raw address. We do not store the original IP.
- Cookies. We set a small first-party cookie to recognise repeat visits for
click statistics. Third-party merchants (see below) set their own cookies when
you follow an outbound link.
- Contact information. If you email us, we receive your address and message.
We do not collect names, payment details, or account credentials, and we do
not sell personal information.
How we use information
- To measure which articles and products are useful (aggregate click and
conversion statistics).
- To keep the Site secure and working.
- To respond when you contact us.
Third parties
This Site participates in affiliate programs, currently including Amazon Associates, Awin and Direct Brand.
When you click an affiliate link, you leave our Site and the merchant may set a
cookie to attribute a purchase to us. Their handling of your data is governed by
their own privacy policies. We do not control those cookies and receive only
aggregate commission reports, never your personal details.
We use no advertising networks, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Data retention
Click and conversion records are kept in aggregate form. Hashing means we cannot
reconstruct individual IP addresses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA
in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal
data we hold, and to object to certain processing. Because we store so little,
most requests will simply confirm we hold no identifiable personal data. To make

Children
This Site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect
their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "last
updated" date above.
